About Us
In the summer of 1992 about a dozen couples began meeting to discuss starting a Bible-centered church in Cleveland’s western suburbs. Our vision was not to start a church for ourselves, but for others. We wanted the unchanging God to be understood, revered, and made relevant to our ever changing world. We hoped that other people would find meaning, guidance, and happiness by following Him.

Providence Church was begun with you in mind! At Providence, we seek to encourage one another along this spiritual journey. By emphasizing relevant teaching, engaging worship, honest friendships, and serving those in need, we strive to “provide FOCUS for following Jesus Christ."

As you look a little further into this website, you’ll find many ways to grow in your relationship with God and practical ways that you can CONNECT and SERVE. We hope that Providence will be a place that helps you know God and to live a joy-filled life which pleases Him!
