Welcome to Providence Church. If you are visiting for the first time, use these pages to learn about our beliefs, our church’s history, and how to navigate a Sunday morning with us. The remaining pages give an overview of the ministries of Providence - places where you can connect and become a part of the church family with us.

Sundays at Providence
Families are encouraged to worship with us at 9:00am or 10:30am and attend a FOCUS Workshop (adult class) or  Christian Education (children's classes) during the other hour. Both worship services are identical and mix traditional and contemporary elements of worship.

Directions
Providence Church is conveniently located on Detroit Road in Avon between Jaycox Road and Route 83 (Avon Belden Road). Using I-90 we are only fifteen minutes from Lakewood (to the east) and Amherst (to the west).


 

Adult Classes
FOCUS Workshops meet each Sunday during both services for two-month terms throughout the school year.

Children’s Classes
Full children’s programming is provided for nursery - 5th grade during the 9:00am hour and for nursery - 6th grade during the 10:30am hour. You may check your child in at the Welcome Kiosk in the children’s wing prior to each service. For more information regarding children's programming, click HERE.

Youth Classes (7th-12th Grade)
Middle and High School students have the option of worshipping at either service, joining a FOCUS Workshop, or attending a Sunday morning teen study during the second service.

Hearing Impaired
If you are in need of hearing assistance please pick up an audio enhancement device at the Information Center, just outside the Worship Center.
