Helping young people become fully devoted followers of Christ doesn’t just happen. When it happens, it happens on purpose. Everything that happens at Providence Church’s Student Ministry is purposeful. Young people are the future of the Church, so we can’t leave their spiritual development to chance.
We provide middle and high school students opportunities for following Christ together. In this world of relativism, our ministry infuses the truth of God’s Word into our students. We strive to create an environment of worship where teenagers can form meaningful, substantive relationships with their Heavenly Father and with one another. After teens develop this strong foundation, they can discover and use their gifts to make a lasting impact on others for Christ.
Providence Student Ministries balance fun, friendships, teaching, discussion, and mentoring. The student ministry staff purposefully designs Sunday mornings, QUEST, OASIS, retreats, events, and Bible studies to give students a genuine experience in the body of Christ.

Wednesday Nights
QUEST (9th-12th Grade)
QUEST Mid-Week Program
Each Wednesday night from 6:30-9pm, the church building gets a little louder. QUEST is in full swing. Dozens of students can be found playing dodge ball in the gym, challenging each other to foosball in the lobby, or chatting in the Cafe. QUEST gives students a time to refuel in the middle of the week with solid friends and Biblical teaching.
Each QUEST night has four main components: • Worship: Coming before the Lord together • Fellowship: Catching up with friends, playing games, and hanging out • Teaching: Discovering the truth’s in God’s Word • Small groups: Forming authentic relationships with peers and adults
OASIS (7th & 8th Grade)
OASIS Mid-Week Program With the stresses of middle-school life, students need a mid-week break from the grind to hang out with Christian friends and receive Biblical teaching. They need an OASIS! Any 7th or 8th grader is welcome at OASIS, which meets each Wednesday night from 6:30-9pm!!
Every Wednesday, middle schoolers gather to hear from God’s Word then talk about that week’s topic in a smaller group of just guys or just girls, facilitated by adult members of the church. At Oasis, middle schoolers also get a chance to have fun together in the church gym, talk with their Christian friends, and build relationships with Christian adults.
Sunday Mornings
QUEST (9th-12th Grade)
QUEST students are encouraged to attend Sunday worship with their families and then connect with their peers. QUEST meets every Sunday morning at 10:30am to dig into the Word. Teens can also participate in the adult Sunday morning FOCUS workshops. During this time, we offer Christian perspective on relevant issues and questions that students face everyday, giving students an opportunity to integrate God’s truth with their everyday lives. OASIS (7th & 8th Grade)
After worshipping with their family, OASIS students meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am to dig into the Word with their peers, led by one of the youth staff. During this time, we offer Christian perspective on relevant issues which gives students the opportunity to integrate God’s truth with their everyday lives.
