Sunday Morning Set-up & Clean-up

Coffee Set-Up (commitment: one Sunday every four-six weeks)
Coffee makes mornings so much brighter.  Hospitality volunteers arrive at 8:30am to make coffee and set up the coffee station in the kitchen window. They also refill the coffee station between services.

Coffee Clean-Up (commitment: one Sunday every four-six weeks)
After the service is over and the congregation has gone home, a volunteer cleans up the coffee station and washes the coffee makers. This usually happens sometime between 12-1pm each Sunday.

PB&J Lunch (commitment: two-three hours, one Sunday every three months)
Once a quarter, Providence offers a PB&J (Providence Basics with Jim) Lunch to help visitors and new attenders gain an understanding of Providence Church and to meet some of the staff. The lunch is catered and needs to be ordered, set up, and cleaned up.

Special Events

Communion Set-Up (commitment: one Sunday morning every four-six weeks)
The Lord’s Supper is observed at Providence approximately every four-six weeks. Volunteers prepare the Lord’s Supper prior to each service and clean up after the service.

Food & Beverage Stations (commitment: special events, as needed)
Throughout the year there are special events held at Providence that require food and beverage stations to be set up and cleaned up for each event. This may include events such as the one-day Providence 101 Membership class, the children’s Christmas Program, and when our facility is used as a polling place.
