DivorceCare

DivorceCare seminars support members of the congregation and community who have experienced the pain of a broken family.  This ministry is especially suited for those who have gone through a divorce, have healed, and are ready to minister to others currently going through a similar situation.

We are currently looking for leaders so that we can offer this valuable ministry once again.

Discussion Group Leaders (commitment: Thursday evenings for 13 weeks, either in fall or spring)
Those that have been through a divorce, who are on the other side, and who may have a passion for  ministering to others are needed as leaders of DivorceCare discussion groups.  For the first 30 minutes of each session the group watches a video featuring an expert on different aspects of divorce recovery.  Afterward, leaders lead a discussion about the evening’s topic.

Financial Peace University

Group Facilitator (commitment: 13-week session, once per year)
Financial Peace University is a semester-long course offered annually at Providence that teaches participants how to make wise financial decisions. Group facilitators with a solid Biblical perspective on managing personal finances are needed to help lead the course.
