WHAT IS the
Christmas Initiative?

The Providence Church Christmas Initiative invites you to reimagine your holiday giving. By spending a little less on typical Christmas gifts, we can invest more in making a lasting ministry impact. Over the next three Christmas seasons, we will focus our support on three meaningful projects: Garden Christian Academy, JHope, and a missions partner in Central Asia. Together, we can turn our holiday generosity into life-changing opportunities.

GARDEN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Gareden Christian Academy (GCA) existes to proved God-honring, academically excellent education rooted in the Gospel, especially for families who otherwise may not have access to private Christian schooling.
GCA is building a new permanent facility to serve more children and expand grade levels for underserved families. This new space—with classrooms, labs, and gathering areas—will create more opportunities and invest in raising up the next generation of gospel-centered followers of Christ.

JHOPE

·JHope serves communities in Central Asia through gospel-centered programs in schools, youth outreach, and special-needs family support. They also equip national leaders and professionals through training and development initiatives.
This building fund supports the creation of a permanent ministry center that will serve as a hub for teen outreach, family support, parent training for children with special needs, leadership seminars, and sustainable, long-term ministry operations.

CENTRAL ASIA

In a predominantly Muslim region of Central Asia, national staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCCI) lead evangelism and discipleship camps for students, athletes, pastors, and refugees.
This project will establish a ministry center for evangelistic camps, discipleship retreats, and theological training. It will serve Muslim students, widows, orphans, Afghan refugees, missionaries, and pastors, supporting ministries like Athletes in Action and Global Church Movements. Allowing expanding opportunities in Central Asia.

We encourage you to pray and seek God’s guidance on how He would have you respond. Talk with your spouse and family about how you might adjust your Christmas spending this year to give toward the Christmas Initiative.

WHY THESE THREE PROJECTS?

As a church, we are committed to partnering with multiple global and domestic ministries. However, after prayerful consideration, our Missions Team and Elder Board have identified these three ministries as our next Christmas Initiative partners. We fully support their vision for these buildings and trust that God will use them to advance His kingdom. While we continue to support many ministries in smaller ways, we’re especially eager to see these major projects move forward!
