yOUNG adults Ministry

Being a young adult comes with unique challenges: How do you connect with others? Are there people my age who want to follow Jesus? What’s my role in the church?

We all long to be known and to belong. But belonging isn't the destination—it's the context in which we learn to follow Jesus together. The Young Adult Ministry at Providence Church exists to equip young adults to grow as disciples of Christ within the local church

The Young Adult Ministry at Providence Church exists to equip young adults to grow as disciples of Christ within the local church. In Following Christ Together, we emphasize:

Union with christ

Eph 1:3-14;Prov 3:5-6
Rooting and remembering our identity in Christ through His Word and regular prayer.

Compelling Community

Tit 2:3-5;Heb 10:24-25
Building authentic, gospel-centered relationships where young adults are connected to the church family, participating in its mission and leadership.

Kingdom Mission

Matt 28:18-20
Living under the good authority of King Jesus in every aspect of life—work, relationships, and home—while making disciples here and around the world.

How do I get involved?

Through these regular rhythms, we seek to help one another follow Jesus by growing in conviction (what we believe), character (who we are becoming), and competence (how we live and serve).

LUNCHEONS

Share a meal, consider a relevant biblical topic together with other members of the church, and connect with others in the ministry.
We have a luncheon 3 times a year on Sunday mornings

SOCIALS AND SERVICES

Build friendships, have fun, and serve alongside the church through things like pickleball, bonfires, meals, service projects, and opportunities to participate in the life and mission of Providence.
We hold monthly social and service opportunities

YA NIGHT

Gather with other young adults for worship, biblical teaching, discussion, and fellowship.
YA Nights are typically the third Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS | BI-WEEKLY

Our primary relational environment for opening God's Word, praying together, asking honest questions, and helping one another follow Jesus. Interested in joining a discipleship group? Tell us a little about yourself and we’ll help connect you to a group, event, mentor, or next step.
