Opportunities to Connect and Grow

There are plenty of opportunities for women to serve and grow together on a regular basis. In addition to seasonal and special events, Bible study groups meet weekly at Providence Church on Wednesday mornings and Monday evenings.

Monday Evening, 6:30-8 p.m., Begins January 19

Everyday Theology, by Mary Wiley - In this 9-week study, explore the essential doctrines of Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times to know God more deeply through these foundational truths. This is a wonderful study for those who are new to bible study or have been studying God’s word for years.

Titus-Displaying the Gospel of Grace, by Courtney Doctor and Hunter Beless - In this 8-week Bible study, we will explore every verse of Paul's letter to his friend Titus. You'll see the essential connection between right belief and right character and the way both testify to the goodness of the gospel. And you’ll be reminded that our world will be attracted to the gospel when they see its beauty displayed in us.

Wednesday Mornings, 9 – 11 a.m. (Childcare is available), Begins January 14

Childcare Is available for children ages Nursery–5. Registration is required. Cost is $25 for 1 child, $35 for 2 or more.

Philippians by Lydia Brownback. From Philippians we learn that even in the face of persecution and other difficulties, there is abundant peace through unity in Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This 11-week study helps us focus on God as the source of our joy when life threatens to side track us.

In View of God’s Mercies -The Gift of the Gospel of Romans by Courtney Doctor - In this 9-week study, walk through the book of Romans to discover that salvation doesn’t just change our eternal future; it changes our present reality. Because of God’s salvation, hope, peace, life, faith, trust, and endurance are ours.

Precept Upon Precept Inductive Study: Kings and Prophets Part 1 - What happens when your heart is divided? What lessons can we learn for our lives today from the examples of Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam, and Abijam? What doesGod do when His people trust their own judgement and disobey Him? This is a 9-week study, you will need to complete the first lesson by the first class on January 14. If you are new to Precept studies, please contact Mandi Yarham for more information.

PRAYER & QUILTING MINISTRY

We will put together quilts to bless new babies of our church, and spend time in prayer for our church families. Absolutely no sewing experience is necessary.

They meet every other Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
