Domestic Missions at Providence Church seeks to make an impact both locally and nationally. Locally, we serve Lorain and western Cuyahoga County through VBS, material assistance, and community outreach—mobilizing our church to share Christ and invite neighbors into fellowship. Nationally, we send teams across the U.S. to share God’s love through practical ministry, including
inner-city work.

We're excited to share volunteer opportunities and how we as a church serve our community together. We will come alongside the families and residents at Laura's Home on the second Saturday of each month.

Our aim is to not simply serve dinner and engage with the residents and families, but is rather to create sustainable opportunities to pour into these families and replicate these efforts on a regular basis.

The City Mission’s 15th annual 5K run, 1-Mile walk, and Kids Fun Run will take place Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Edgewater Park in Cleveland. Your participation empowers life-changing programs offering care and compassion to hundreds of Cleveland’s men, women, and children.

Registration opens at 7:30am, Welcome Ceremony and Kids Dash begin at 8:45am and 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk begin simultaneously at 9:00am.
