Dear Providence Church,
We believe that one way we can obey our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples is to multiply other God-honoring local churches. This goal involves church planting (as is happening with Pastor Campbell and The Orchard Church), investing in a pastoral residency for future church leadership (Nate Washburn & Noah Zaleski who will start on January 1, 2027), and providing ongoing theological training for anyone leading within a church (The Providence Institute for Equipping the Saints).
It is around this last opportunity that we want to announce the Together for Ohio initiative in partnership with EmmausTheological Seminary (ETS). Through God’s kindness and your generosity, Providence will provide scholarships to Emmausfor pastors and leaders from any church in Lorain County who want to be better equipped to serve their local churches. This scholarship will also extend to any Christian school teachers who are actively forming young minds. We believe that this is one way we can encourage other evangelical congregations, build meaning relationships in our county, and spread the light of the Gospel in our region.
The Together for Ohio initiative also allows any Providence member to take classes at Emmaus with very little cost.
Thank you for your continued generosity as we form families, equip saints, and multiply churches to God’s Glory.
